Veterinarians and Trainers
Part of your Team
I worked in general practice for 12 years prior to starting LVBS, I know how challenging it can be to try to address an owner's behavior concerns within the constraints of an appointment.
Let me help you and be your resource. I want to support you in providing the best care to your clients and patients. I am happy to offer advice on pre-appointment medication options and creative non-aversion handling techniques for pets who are fearful or aggressive at the vet.
If an owner isn't quite ready for a behavior consultation I can offer advice to you, their veterinarian about management options.
Is your staff interested in learning and practicing new techniques that will improve the veterinary experience for your anxious and fearful patients? Contact me to set up a lunch and learn.
This is my commitment to you.
I take your trust seriously. If you feel your client would benefit from a behavior consultation fill out the form below or have your client contact me.
I will schedule an in home consultation with your client and ask them to fill out a questionnaire to be returned to me at least 48 hours prior to their appointment. I inform clients I will contact you to request a copy of their medical records which can be emailed to me at or faxed to (456)-789-1234. In the days following their consultation I will email your client and you a copy of my consultation report which will include diagnosis, management plan, treatment plan, and goals. I am available as a resource for clients for 3 months following their consult to make adjustments as needed. I also welcome and questions you may have as well.
For clients who live outside the Dane County area I offer in-depth doctor to doctor consultations. Clients fill-out and submit the comprehensive behavior questionnaire . I will review this information and help you develop a treatment plan that you can then communicate back to the client. You pay the fee and bill the client accordingly accounting for your time as well. $50 per 1/2 hour.
